The LBBS
Crowning a champion for Montana
The Last Best Bouldering Series was created to provide an opportunity for climbers across the 406 to broaden their climbing experience under the Big Sky. This championship series crowns champions in multiple categories by how they perform across all competitions. You may be the top dog in your gym, but are you the top dog over all of Montana??? That is what we will find out, but more than anything we are looking to provide another way for Montana climbers to interact and build community. There are four adult categories and ten youth categories. If you compete in a comp this year, you are automatically enrolled in the LBBS. Your top four finishes are counted toward your total score. You can follow your progress in the "Current Standings" page.
Join us in expanding climbing to new horizons in Montana!

The Deets
Each Fall, there are six climbing competitions held in Montana. Each of the six climbing gyms holding a local comp has agreed to send their scores in for ranking in the LBBS. In this points based series, competitors earn points based on their finish place in their individual category (see "scoring detail" page). Only the four highest finishes in all competitons count toward the total points for each competitor.
